Bourgneuf 2025: de stille stijger van Pomerol
Château Bourgneuf behoort tot de stille stijgers van Pomerol. Het familiedomein van de familie Vayron ligt direct naast het legendarische Trotanoy, op dezelfde kleihoudende grindbodems die verantwoordelijk zijn voor enkele van de grootste wijnen van Bordeaux. Sinds Frédérique Vayron in 2008 het roer overnam, bevindt Bourgneuf zich in een duidelijke opwaartse lijn.
De jaargang 2025 bevestigt die ontwikkeling met een wijn vol donker fruit, mokka, lavendel en fijne kruidigheid. Antonio Galloni (Vinous) spreekt van een “powerful, heady wine”, terwijl Robert Parker de voortdurende kwaliteitsstijging van het château benadrukt.
