The 2025 Lafleur-Gazin shows promise, wafting from the glass with notes of minty cherries, cassis and licorice, followed by a medium- to full-bodied, polished and charming palate that's fleshy, seamless and already nicely integrated.

The 2025 Lafleur-Gazin is a rich, heady Pomerol. Dark-fleshed fruit, mocha, leather, licorice and cloves convey plenty of darkness. There's plenty of breadth in the glass. I imagine the 2025 will drink well with minimal cellaring. The style is decidedly forward, almost lush.

Cool blue fruit aromas. Softly lively, not super vibrant but there’s clean and pure fruit with acidity that manages to lift the quite tannic frame. Feels a little compact right now, a touch serious but there’s a soft chew and quite clean, chalky, powdery ending. Just missing a beat for me. Feels a bit tight.
